SELF-CARE TIPS

Learn About and Consider Using Music Streaming Services

Explore some of the available music streaming services. AARP has a great article on what you can get for FREE and what services require payment. A few examples are:

  1. iHeart radio (https://www.iheart.com/).

  2. Smart TVs can also access FREE and paid music channels. Some of these streaming services have FREE listening options as well as paid options (around $7.99-10.99/month).

Possible Benefits of Using Music Streaming
  • Portability and access anywhere
Streamed music travels with the caregiver—at home, in the car, on walks, or during appointments—offering support wherever caregiving happens.

  • Supports simple self-care routines
Saved playlists make it easy to create repeatable habits, such as a morning “wake-up” playlist or an evening relaxation routine, without extra effort.

What music/song/artist would you listen to if you could listen to any song, any time you would like?

Check out this article from AARP outlining the different music streaming services that are available, and what you can get for FREE!
